Over Cricket Club is a fun vibrant village club; serving Swavesey, Over and the surrounding area ,8 miles north of Cambridge, for the last 120 years.
We run 2 mens Saturday teams and in 2011 we ran 3 junior sides U11, U13 and U15.
Our 1st team after a successful 2011 have been promoted into division 1 North for 2012.
X-Cambridgeshire Minor Counties player Martin Burton returned to the club were he started in 2011 and has confirmed he will again be playing for us in 2012.
Over Cricket Club's most successful ever bowler Bob Milne also came back to spearhead the attack in 2011, with considerable effect in the deciding match.
Over 2nd are in Division 5 for 2012, we had some promising performances in 2011 especially from our youth players, which we are looking to build on. However we were also short of players on a number of ocassions.
We are very keen to recruit new players to strengthen both 1st and 2nd teams for 2012.

Our 1st mid week team went undefeated in the business house league and were also promoted into the top division for 2012, our u18's (2nd mid week team) did really well in division 3 to finish mid table.

In 2011 Over Cricket Club re-achieved ClubMark and we are a Cambridgeshire Cricket Focus Club.
We are ambitious, but having fun playing our cricket is the main aim.
